The Difference We Make: Practical Strategies for the Trauma-Informed Classroom

1:00pm – 4:00pm on Thursday 11/5
One steady, caring adult can change the course of a student’s day, and sometimes their life. This session moves from understanding to action. It gives elementary and secondary educators low-lift, high-impact strategies that build connection, predictability, and safety in the classroom. Participants will explore how to figure out what a behavior is communicating and how to respond to the students who need the most from us. We’ll also practice accountability that holds firm boundaries while keeping relationships intact. Through hands-on practice and conversation with fellow educators, participants will leave with strategies they can use right away and the confidence that the work they do every day truly matters.
