Broadcaster, author, adoptive dad

John Fuller is vice president of Focus on the Family's Audio department, leading the team that creates and produces almost 20 audio programs and podcasts.

Fuller is the co-host of the award-winning Focus on the Family Broadcast with Focus President Jim Daly, heard by more than 7 million individuals in the U.S., on over 1,000 radio affiliates, and millions more worldwide

He also hosts the radio features Weekend Magazine and Focus on the Family Minute, as well as the popular Focus on the Family Marriage Podcast and Focus on the Family Parenting Podcast.

Fuller is passionate about encouraging and helping families, particularly those with adoptive and special needs children. He has spoken internationally about parenting, marriage, adoption, faith, creativity, workplace relationships and more. He has written for numerous magazines and websites, and is also the author of the book, First-Time Dad: The Stuff You Really Need to Know.

Fuller’s broadcasting career began in 1980 at a college radio station in Wisconsin. In subsequent years, he was involved in the start-up of two Christian stations in Tyler, Texas. Fuller has a Master of Arts in human communications from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Texas at Tyler; he also studied at Dallas Theological Seminary.

Fuller joined Focus on the Family in 1991 and presently serves on the board of the National Religious Broadcasters and the University of Northwestern St. Paul.

Married since 1984, Fuller and his wife, Dena, have six children. They enjoy a variety of family activities such as camping, visits to local playgrounds and volunteering at their church.
